Greetings! 

The leaves and weather are changing quickly and I find myself more excited for winter this year than ever before! Perhaps it’s the recent purchase of a new pair of skis, or maybe the anticipation of looking out my window and seeing the village once again vibrant with excited snow lovers, radiating in their brightly colored outfits, or the knowledge that “ski breaks” will again become a routine. Perhaps it’s the return of the seasonal staff – the energetic lifties, those much-needed baristas, ski patrol, ambassadors…. Whatever it is, after a great summer sendoff with a successful Fall Fest, the countdown to opening day has officially sprung!  

While I feel I am starting to get the hang of things here, I haven’t yet lived through what I hear is a very intense winter preparation!  With several ski shows on the horizon, it looks like a packed couple of autumn months and I feel like snow will be falling before I know it! Again, as much as I’d love to keep it for my own, I find myself thrilled to share this mountain with you!

After a great summer full of writers who tested our trails and tried out our summer activities, I can’t wait to meet the powder-seeking journalists and photographers this winter brings!
