September 2010
Greetings from Idaho's Schweitzer Mountain Resort!
Just a few days ago, I experienced that first "fall is in the air" moment here at Schweitzer. Short sleeves felt out of place, there was a distinct chill in the air and I felt myself walking with an extra spring in my step. I always look forward to that first day of the season where summer begins to fade into winter and the anticipation of the first snowfall begins to take hold. Like an old friend that's been away for a while, winter begins to return to Schweitzer.
For those of us who get to call Schweitzer Mountain Resort our playground in both winter and summer, the changing of the seasons brings with it a renewed sense of adventure. As the days get shorter and nights grow colder, ski gear replaces mountain bikes and autumn's festival of colors precedes the first flakes of snow on the peaks. Whether you have visited in the past or have yet to experience the joy of a Schweitzer winter, I invite you to join us this year.
Aside from the outdoor adventures that await you, you'll discover something that can only be defined as The Schweitzer Difference. It's the personality and culture that you'll find when you interact with our service team here. We look forward to sharing our passion for the mountains, infectious zest for life, and top-notch service with you during your stay.
Please take a moment to check out Schweitzer's 2010/2011 winter press kit, or view it online here. Additionally, if you are interested in the 2010 Summer Press Kit, you can view it here.
The entire press kit is also available by hard copy and on CD. Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like either of these formats, have photo needs, or would like any other additional information or assistance. Please contact me and I'm happy to help.
A phone call or email is all it takes and I'll handle all the details for your visit. I look forward to seeing you and showing you around!
