"In the spring, Transworld Snowboarding launched an online survey polling readers about the three best resorts they rode this past winter. The questions were broken down into 22 separate categories and scored from one to ten, dealing with everything from the quality of snow, the layout of the lifts, the grooming of the park, the variety of the rails, the park layout, the pipe maintenance, the local vibe, the challenge, the food ... they really dug deep. This year, they received 4,700 responses for 160 different resorts. The surveys were then professionally computed and analyzed, and only those resorts that met the minimum numbers of votes were included in the final results."
